This is in no way food related but I just had to share. For my wrtitng job over at What The Flicka?, I’ve been given this amazing opportunity.

I can now officially announce the news that I’ve been invited to visit the set of the movie, Safe Haven, that’s filming in North Carolina with Josh Duhamel, Cobie Smulders, and Julianne Hough. I’ll be going in 2 weeks and will be joined by about 15 amazing writers.

We get to meet author Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook) and have an interview with him as well as meeting some members of the cast. We also possibly get to be in a scene for the movie. Squeeee!

This film is being directed by Lasse Hallstrom, who I absolutely LOVE. He’s directed What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and Chocolat. LOVE those movies!

I will probably be going Safe Haven crazy for the next few weeks so expect a lot of pictures when I’m there. I love that I get to share this amazing opportunity with all of you!
